- captained Indiana University (1986) for the NCAA’s winningest soccer coach Jerry Yeagley.
- 1987 Hermann trophy finalist (College Soccer’s National Player of the Year).
- 14th overall pick in the 1988 Professional Draft (San Diego Sockers).
- played professionally for the San Diego Nomads and Detroit Rockers.
