CAMP LOCATION: City of Portage Skate Park: 9010 South Westnedge, Portage MI 49002. Get Directions!
BEGINNER CURRICULUM: This camp will teach skateboard parts and maintenance, stepping on and riding the skateboard, pushing, tic tacs, dropping in, ollies, riding off a curb, and kick turns.
INTERMEDIATE CURRICULUM: This camp will teach flip tricks (kickflip, shove it, heelflip), 180's, ollies over and under obstacles, grinds and slides, and quarter pipe stalls (rock to fakie, axel stall).
WHAT TO BRING? Skateboards and helmets are mandatory. Knee, elbow, and all other pads are recommended but not mandatory. Water bottle (with water in it). Pick up your name tag at the check in table when you arrive at the skate park.
