Kingdom Select Soccer Club’s mission is to provide an opportunity for young people in our community to develop healthy life skills and team skills through active participation in the wonderful game of soccer. Our objective is to increase the knowledge base of the soccer player by carrying out the Meulensteen method of training and philosophy using the latest developments in coaching and skill training. Within our organization we use the professional expertise of experienced coaches who have learned the Meulensteen training methods.
Kingdom Select Soccer Club was established in 2006 to provide opportunities for all players who are serious about the sport and who want to participate at a more competitive level with travel soccer. Benefits include a proven Meulensteen curriculum consistency of coaching philosophy, professional administrative and coaching staff expertise, positive role models for youth players, and a professional approach to the development of the youth soccer player.
Kingdom Select Head Coaches will be parent coaches who will receive support and instruction from the Kingdom Professional coaching staff. Each Kingdom Select coach will attend a Meulensteen coaching clinic to learn the latest skill training and philosophy. Kingdom Select is the first club in the United States to have the Meulensteen curriculum, which has been developed by Rene Meulensteen, first team coach of Manchester United. The Meulensteen curriculum is designed for the technical skill development of the player . Weekly on field training sessions will be implemented by the Head Coach with guidance from the Professional Coach. Kingdom Select coaches must attend the Meulensteen coach clinic and have a USSF “E” license. There is a one year exemption allowed for coaches to obtain their coaching license.
