KINGDOM COED U8 ACADEMY
		Sign up below for your U8 Academy Team.  Please attend the meeting July 7th at 6pm at Kingdom Sports to meet your coach and turn in any remaining paperwork.  Payments are due no later than meeting and can be made below prior to July 7th.  Cost is $298.  2011 U8 Academy teams are: Kingdom Academy Peters Kingdom Academy Julien Kingdom Academy Pomeroy Please contact Nick Michaels at Nick@kicsports.net with questions.

U8 Academy is designed for boys and girls 6 and 7 years old who would like to improve their soccer skills in a fun and competitive environment.  If you play AYSO and would like a more structured, competitive environment, or if you are typically more advanced in activities you participate in, U8 academy will be fun for you. 

Each team has one volunteer coach (typically a parent).  Support is received through training sessions run by the Kingdom coaching staff each season. Kingdom U8 Academy is overseen by a Kingdom Professional Coach.  If you are interested in becoming a Kingdom U8 Academy Coach, please email chris@kicsports.net.
 
COST
Total cost for two seasons is $298.  Full fee of $298 is due when you accept a spot for the Fall season.  These fees include the uniform.  Uniforms will consist of one pair socks, one shorts and one jersey.  These fees include participation in the fall Kingdom tournament over Labor Day and the Spring Tournament, Crusader Cup in late April.  Uniform sizes (jersey & short size) must be told to the coach at the team meeting or emailed to steph@kicsports.net by July 10th. 
 
PARTICIPATION
This program is open to anyone who would like to be considered or who is invited to participate by a Kingdom coach.

TRAINING
Training sessions will be conducted by Kingdom Coaching Staff each week throughout the season.  They will be held at Kingdom Sports and typically run 1 hour to 1.5 hours each.

GAMES
Each season consists of 5 league games and 3 tournament games:  6 v 6 includes goal keeper, no offside and 25 minute halves. Games will be at River Oaks Park on Sunday afternoons between 12-4 pm.  Games for fall season will be determined after teams are formed.  Tournament games will be Sept. 2nd - 4th 2011 and April 2012 at River Oaks Park in Galesburg.

  • For girls and boys ages 6 & 7 that are looking for a more competitive, fun league
  • 6 v 6 game format (includes goal keeper)
  • Coed roster; 8-11 players
  • Teams attend seven (7), 1 hour training sessions each season with Kingdom coaches
  • Five (5) games in each fall & spring season, plus three games at the Kingdom Tournaments.
  • Volunteer Parent Coaches supported by Kingdom coaching staff
  • Player registration is $298 for the year, Fall and Spring.  Due at registration. 
  • Kingdom coaches provide training support
  • Player Spring training dates: 
       o Wednesdays April 13, 20, 27, May 4, 11, 18, 25
  • Participate in the Kingdom Cup Sept. 3rd-5th 2011 and Crusader Cup, April 2012 at River Oaks Park in Galesburg
  • Spring season game schedule:  Sundays – April 17, May 8, 15, 22, June 5 
     Games are played at River Oaks, Portage  between 12 pm - 4 pm.
